Community Guidelines

Effective October 23, 2026 · Last updated October 24, 2026

MOEV exists to help people put the phone down, live in the moment and connect in real life. These Community Guidelines (the "Guidelines") describe the standards that apply to everyone who uses MOEV and to everything shared on it, including photos, reveals, roll names, comments, captions, profiles and other text displayed in the service (collectively, "Content"). The Guidelines form part of, and are incorporated into, the MOEV Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

We apply these Guidelines consistently, with attention to context, and we update them as the service and the law evolve. By creating, joining or viewing a roll, you agree to follow them.

1. Safety of minors

MOEV has zero tolerance for content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, endangers or abuses anyone under 18. This includes child sexual abuse material, sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, solicitation of minors, and attempts to obtain images of or contact with a minor for any improper purpose. Confirmed violations result in immediate and permanent account termination and are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law. Accounts of users aged 13 to 17 are subject to additional protections described in our Safety Center.

2. Nudity and sexual content

MOEV does not permit nudity, sexually explicit content, or content depicting sexual activity, whether real, simulated or digitally generated, including content in which the person sharing it appears. Content that is suggestive, including swimwear and nightlife attire, is permitted provided it is not sexually explicit. Content may be removed from the public feed, restricted, or removed entirely based on context.

4. Harassment, threats and hateful conduct

MOEV is built for friends, and good-natured humor among friends is part of it. MOEV does not permit content or conduct that targets a person or group for abuse, including credible threats of violence, intimidation, sustained or coordinated harassment, unwanted sexual remarks, or degrading content directed at a private individual. MOEV also does not permit content that attacks, dehumanizes or incites hatred against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease, or that promotes hateful organizations or symbols.

5. Violent and graphic content

Content that depicts, promotes or glorifies serious violence, including real fights intended to humiliate, graphic injury or gore, cruelty to animals, or violent extremism, is not permitted. Content documenting events in a non-gratuitous manner may be restricted rather than removed.

6. Suicide, self-harm and eating disorders

Content that promotes, encourages or provides instruction for suicide, self-harm or disordered eating is not permitted. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States, or call 911 in an emergency. Additional resources are available in our Safety Center.

7. Regulated goods and illegal activity

MOEV may not be used to buy, sell, trade or arrange the transfer of illegal drugs, controlled substances, firearms, ammunition or explosives, or to promote fraud, scams or other unlawful activity. Content depicting minors using alcohol, tobacco or drugs is not permitted. Lawful adult activity, such as responsible drinking at a bar or event by adults of legal age, is permitted.

8. Authenticity and integrity

Accounts must represent real people. Impersonation of any person, brand or organization (including MOEV), fake or automated accounts, spam, and the purchase, sale or artificial inflation of followers, views or engagement are prohibited. Participants in the MOEV Ambassador Program must clearly disclose their participation when sharing referral links, as described in the Ambassador Terms.

9. Intellectual property

Share only Content you have the right to share. Content that infringes the copyright, trademark or other rights of others is not permitted. Rights holders may submit notices under our Copyright Policy. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in appropriate circumstances.

10. Enforcement

MOEV uses a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce these Guidelines. Depending on the severity and context of a violation and the account's history, MOEV may, without prior notice: remove or restrict Content; obscure individuals within Content; remove a reveal from the public feed; limit commenting, following or other features; suspend an account; or permanently terminate an account. MOEV may preserve information and cooperate with law enforcement where required by law or where there is a credible risk of harm. Nothing in these Guidelines obligates MOEV to monitor Content, and MOEV's decisions under these Guidelines are made in its sole discretion, subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law.

11. Reporting and appeals

You can report any reveal, comment or profile in the app using the Report option. If you were in the roll, you may select "Remove me from this reveal"; anyone else may email hello@moev.app with the subject "Remove me." Reports are reviewed promptly, generally within 24 hours, and reports involving minors are prioritized. If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing hello@moev.app with the subject line "Appeal," including your username and a description of the decision.

Questions about these Guidelines may be sent to hello@moev.app. MOEV is operated by Dominion Apex Labs LLC.
