Copyright Policy
Effective October 23, 2026 · Last updated October 24, 2026
Dominion Apex Labs LLC ("MOEV") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This Copyright Policy forms part of the MOEV Terms of Service and describes how MOEV responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the "DMCA").
This policy concerns copyright only. To ask to be blurred in a reveal in which you appear, use "Remove me" or see the Safety Center. Trademark concerns may be sent to hello@moev.app.
1. Designated agent
2. Notice of claimed infringement
A notice must be in writing, sent to the designated agent, and include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf (a typed full name is sufficient);
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed or, for multiple works, a representative list;
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with its link on MOEV (for example, moev.app/v/... or moev.app/u/...), sufficient for us to locate it;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- the statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."; and
- the statement: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
On receipt of a notice that substantially complies with these requirements, MOEV will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user who provided it, and provide that user with a copy of the notice, which may include your contact information. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please consider whether a use may be a fair use before submitting a notice.
3. Counter-notice
If material you provided was removed and you believe in good faith that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send the designated agent a counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
- the statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."; and
- your name, address and telephone number, and the statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Dominion Apex Labs LLC may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of that person."
MOEV will forward the counter-notice to the person who submitted the original notice. Unless that person informs us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement, MOEV may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
4. Repeat infringers
MOEV terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. An account that is the subject of valid notices concerning three separate items of content will generally be terminated, and MOEV may terminate an account sooner for clear or willful infringement.
5. Music in reveals
Music in MOEV reveals is owned by or licensed to MOEV for use in reveals. If you believe a track infringes your rights, submit a notice as described above and identify the track.
Changes in this version (October 24, 2026). This policy was reformatted with numbered sections. The notice, counter-notice and repeat infringer procedures are unchanged.
